This document outlines the official membership categories, definitions, and associated privileges for members of the Coalition of Department of Public Safety Retirees (CDPSR) in Arizona.
Membership Categories & Definitions
- Active Member:
An individual who has fulfilled all membership obligations, including the timely payment of annual dues, and is in good standing with CDPSR. Active Members are entitled to full membership privileges as outlined below. - Inactive Member:
A member who has not remitted their annual dues within the required time frame. Inactive Members are temporarily ineligible for membership privileges, including access to events, communications, and benefits.
Membership privileges will be reinstated upon payment of dues. - Legacy Lifetime Member:
A surviving spouse or immediate family member of a deceased Regular Member, granted a lifetime membership in honor of their family’s service and legacy. Legacy Lifetime Members are not required to pay dues and will retain permanent access to select membership privileges.
- Inactive Members may reinstate Active Member privileges at any time upon full payment of outstanding dues.
- Legacy Lifetime Memberships are honorary and do not carry voting or governance rights but maintain full participation in events and communications.
- Active Members are the only category with voting rights on CDPSR governance matters.

This Membership Policy Document is subject to review and amendment by the CDPSR Board of Directors.
Any changes will be communicated to members through official CDPSR communication channels.
